Sweet, creamy, the Kopi Sanger is a delicious Indonesian treat. The way you prepare it enhances the flavors and the smoothness of the coffee.
Kopi Sanger is made with condensed milk and coffee (espresso + hot water or a strong coffee prepared with a French Press or an AeroPress), filtered through a sieve repeatedly to achieve a smooth texture.

Make 4 1/2 oz of fresh black coffee with a French press or an AeroPress. You can also make an Americano. Those methods make a more robust coffee. Pour into a measuring cup or a pouring pot.
Add 1 oz of condensed milk, and stir.
Pour the condensed milk/coffee mixture into the second pitcher, strain with a small sieve. The condensed milk will come at the end; when it stops flowing, repeat the pouring into the first pitcher with the sieve. Repeat until the condensed milk is thoroughly mixed. Repeat at least three times.
Serve into your prewarmed cup and enjoy!
