Coffee-Crusted Steak

Ingredients
 1 Ribeye or New-York strip steak
 1 tbsp Ground coffee
 1 tsp Kosher salt
 1 tsp Brown sugar
 ½ tsp Ground black pepper
 Extra virgin olive oil
Optional
 1 pinch Chili powder
Instructions

Prepare your grill for direct cooking over high heat (450º to 550ºF),

Prepare your dry rub by mixing the coffee grounds, salt, sugar, and black pepper in small bowl,

Lightly coat the steak on both sides with olive oil,

Season evenly with the rub and let the steaks sit at room temperature for about 20-30 minutes,

Grill the steak to your preferred doneness.

Notes

You can use freshly ground coffee or pre-ground coffee.

Time will depend on how you like your steak to be cooked. Adjust accordingly.
