Top 6 best coffee cups on the market.
Note: The following is not listed in order of preference.
#1. notNeutral
If you already read some articles from us, you know that we are big fans of notNeutral, like thousands of baristas!
notNeutral, California-based, founded in 2001, designed the perfect cups after collaborating with world champion baristas.
The iconic LINO coffee cups are our favorite and the most popular collection. The collection offers espresso cups, single or double cappuccino cups, small or large latte cups in 4 colors, and coffee mugs (10, 12, 16 oz) in 12 colors or astonishing patterns!
At first, they designed those cups for professional baristas. You could only find them in coffee shops. Then, they quickly won the hearts of coffee aficionados and wannabe baristas at home (like you and us!).
The espresso cup has the famous egg shape for keeping the coffee oil.
Also, they optimized the cappuccino or latte cups inside for latte art and thermal insulation.
What makes them so unique and distinct from other cups? The handle! It is flush with the cup’s rim to ensure comfort and control for baristas and drinkers alike.
notNeutral offers a new successful collection, Vero Glassware. This collection comes in clear, smoke, rose, or amber and in various sizes: espresso, cortado, cappuccino, and latte. Their unique shape and faceted angles offer a modern look and technical improvements that elevate the coffee-drinking experience—made in the USA. Same egg shape inside as the LINO line for keeping the coffee oils.

❤️ = the handle, I am in love with the design, and it feels so good in your hands. These cups are so well made and designed with functionality. They aren’t the cheapest, but the high quality is well worth it.
#2. Bodum
Bodum is a Danish company that has grown into a global houseware brand distributed in over 55 countries. Bodum is well-known for its iconic French press and offers a large selection of cups, mugs, and glasses. Their motto: “Good design doesn’t have to be expensive,” stated Peter Bodum.
The most famous double-wall glass in the Bodum collection is the Pavina®️. The collection offers a 2.5 oz, perfect for an espresso shot. Additionally, they have an 8, 12, or 15-oz double wall glass for everyone’s preference.

❤️ = You can see and admire your crema. Mouth-blown, heat-resistant borosilicate glass has a thermal quality to keep your hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold.
#3. Illy Art Collection
“If coffee is experienced with all five senses, the very objects that hold coffee should please the eye. Over twenty years ago, illy considered how an everyday object like a coffee cup could be rethought – elevated, in fact, to meld the sensory pleasures of coffee and art,” states Illy.
Illy has a special place in our hearts. Our coffee journey started with them. Cedric received a set of 6 art design demitasses and matching saucers as a birthday gift 16 years ago and still enjoys using them daily, proof of a great design.
❤️ = Their cups are unique and gorgeous, real pieces of art. Their design is usually fun and colorful to brighten your day. They are conversation starters when you share coffee with your guests.
– = The price tag is high, in my opinion, Wholelattelove sells 6 espresso cups + saucers for $150.
#4. Loveramics
Loveramics is a Hong Kong-based company that started in 2011. Designed by the British and made in China. They have four warehouses worldwide: Hong Kong, China, Europe, USA.
Loveramics has been the World Latte Art Championship’s official cup since 2015. The Egg Series is designed for creative baristas with a spherical interior and ergonomic handle.
We don’t own any cups from them, but the reviews are excellent.
The cups are high-quality, thick (suitable for heat retention), well-made, and have a perfect glaze and finish. They are also very photogenic; they offer a rainbow of colors (15)! The cup’s egg shape also provides a large opening up top, providing a lot of space for latte art!
The bestseller is the Egg series – a style of cafe cups. In that collection, you can have an espresso cup, a flat white cup, 2 sizes of cappuccino cups, and a cafe latte cup.
They also offer a clear glass collection, like notNeutral, and nice mugs.
❤️ = a rainbow of colors to choose from, and the inside is white, which I like since it makes coffee look more appetizing.
#5. DeLonghi
DeLonghi is a well-known Italian appliance brand. They offer a collection of inexpensive double-walled Thermo glasses (espresso, cappuccino, latte Machiatto cups).
According to some reviews, they are sweet-looking and functional to offer a double insulated wall. De’Longhi designed a gentle slope of the sides to allow the espresso flow to fall without splashing and preserving the espresso’s crema.

❤️ = The price is a great deal. The transparency allows you to admire your coffee and crema.
#6. Acme & CO
Acme & Co, based in New Zealand and founded in 2011, manufactures robust and beautiful cups for the specialty coffee market. They offer several options that are ergonomically designed and comfortable for your hands, as well as stylish and long-lasting. Acme Cups and Saucers are available in America and Canada.
You can find them in many coffee shops across the USA. Stumptown Coffee, OR, has been using Acme brown cups since Acme was first released.
The Evolution series offers a smoother inner gradient to make an easier pour for Latte artists. While the base is still thick for improved heat retention, the lip is more refined. The most significant change is the handle, which has been redesigned to make it more comfortable.
5 sizes and 8 colors: demitasse (70ml for espresso), flat white (150ml), tulip (170ml), cappuccino (190ml), Latte (280ml), mighty (350ml).
You can buy them through Seattle Coffee Gear or see them on Amazon.
❤️ = Exceptional cups and mugs crafted to create exquisite drinking experiences.
The bottom line
I hope this top list will help you find the perfect cup, ergonomically designed and comfortable for your hands, stylish, and long-lasting!
