The Dark Velvet – an Elegant Coffee Cocktail

The dark angel, coffee cocktail

Ingredients
 1 ¼ fl oz Espresso shot
 1 fl oz Amaretto liqueur
 ½ fl oz Dark rum
 2 fl oz Heavy whipping cream
 A cocktail glass (previously chilled in the freezer)
 A shaker
 A spoon
Garnish (optional)
 cocoa powder
 3 coffee beans
Instructions

Pull your espresso shot,

Add the ice into a shaker,

Pour the Amaretto liqueur, the dark rum, and the espresso shot,

Shake,

Strain into the cocktail glass,

Rinse the shaker, put fresh ice, then pour 2oz of cream and shake lightly (not too hard to avoid bits of ice),

Slowly strain the cream over the back of a spoon into the cocktail glass so that the cream floats on the top of the liquid.

You can garnish with cocoa powder and 3 coffee beans as desired.
